A Very Cosy Autumn, Inspired by Your Favourite Films 🍁

🍂 Your Favourite Films, Now in Their Autumn Era
A little bit of autumn, a little bit of nostalgia… and a few places you may already feel like you know.
There is something about September that makes me want to rewatch all my favourite films.
The ones with cosy kitchens, bookshops glowing in the evening, coffee cups on every surface, beautiful houses, slightly ridiculous family gatherings… and, of course, an autumn day that somehow always looks perfect.
So I thought: why not paint them?
I am so excited to share my Fall Editions of some of my most loved movie-inspired illustrations, each one reimagined with golden leaves, cosy details, twinkle lights and that unmistakable feeling of settling in for a favourite film.
📚 The Shop Around the Corner (You've Got Mail)
One of my absolute favourites.
Imagine wandering through a charming little bookshop on a crisp autumn afternoon, leaves blowing down the street and warm light spilling onto the pavement.
Basically, my idea of heaven.
☕️ Notting Hill Bookshop (Notting Hill)
My imagined little corner of Notting Hill gets an autumn makeover with cosy books, coffee, glowing lights and plenty of that romantic London feeling.
And yes… I have absolutely imagined myself wandering in there with a coffee and a book.
🏡 Father of the Bride (The Bank's Home)
Because nothing says Nancy Meyers quite like a beautiful family home, autumn foliage and a wedding on the horizon.
This one is full of those gorgeous little details that make the films so endlessly rewatchable — and I couldn't resist giving it a cosy fall twist.
☕️🍂 Gilmore Girls (Lorelai & Rory's Home)
And then there is Stars Hollow.
Crisp leaves. Coffee. Books. Sweaters. Small-town charm.
Honestly, does autumn get any better?
My fall edition is my little imagined corner of Stars Hollow, created for anyone who, like me, thinks that an unreasonable amount of coffee and a good book is a perfectly acceptable way to spend an autumn afternoon.
🍁 Practical Magic (The Owens Sisters Home)
A little Practical Magic has arrived at the studio… ✨🏡🌿
My mixed media illustration of the iconic Owens House on Magnolia Street, Massachusetts, for anyone who dreams of cosy New England homes, autumn evenings and just a little bit of movie magic. 🖤🍂
🎬 Five favourites. One very cosy season.
These illustrations are all about that feeling of stepping inside your favourite film and bringing a tiny piece of its world home with you.
They are painted and created in my studio here in the Cotswolds, England, and are available in a range of sizes so you can find just the right little piece of autumn for your walls.
With love from my little studio in the Cotswolds,
